Guido is a multi instrumentalist who has played in the world of folk and folk-rock for over thirty years.

He was an original member of Shave the Monkey who played together for over 15 and recorded four albums.

'Shave' did reform briefly in 2009 for a couple of gigs to celebrate it's 20th anniversary and again in 2011 for a couple more gigs; however it is very unlikely that there would be any further gigs in the future.

After Shave the Monkey's split Guido played in Ian Cutler's Slaughterhouse and recorded a live album in 2003. Unfortunately, due to the band members living all over the UK and beyond, meant that this project was difficult to maintain.

He was a member of Albion Morris Men for over twenty years until they retired in 2011; However, before calling it a day, in 2002 they recorded a album called 'Still Dancing after all these years'. "Now we can start planning some Albion Morris Reunions"

In early 2012, in a departure from the norm, Guido joined three talented musicians to form the new rock band Ten Minds Wide. Despite creating some great music and recording a new album split after only a year. "I really enjoyed playing in Ten Minds Wide and I made some great friends. It's a shame that the album wasn't released as I was very proud of what we achieved"

Guido can been found playing in the ceilidh bands Spring Loaded and Dangerous Circles.
